Rubber rope training speed and its effect the jumping table deviceAbstract
The element of speed is of great importance in practicing many activities, and among the means and methods that play an effective role in developing speed are resistance training, including rubber rope training that affects the development of the muscle groups of the legs and thus affects the factors that have the main role in improving speed, especially training some stages of performance on the jumping table device such as using rubber ropes according to the direction of movement while adhering to the scientific limits of the components of the training load in order to bring about development in the amounts of speed, especially in the last steps of approach and facilitate the process of linking between approach and ascent during the performance of the skill.
The research aimed to prepare rubber rope training to develop some types of speed and its effect on the performance of the Arabic skill followed by the straight back aerial flip on the vaulting table device. Since the research problem is of an experimental nature, the researcher used the method and the research community was represented by the gymnastics players of the Thi Qar Club who train at the specialized training center. The first training unit was conducted on 9/9/2024, corresponding to Monday after the pre-tests. The researcher introduced rubber rope training in the main section of the group. Through it, the researcher aims to develop some types of speed and the performance of the Arabic skill followed by the straight back aerial flip on the vaulting table device. The application of training using rubber ropes took (8) weeks at a rate of (3) training units per week, which are (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). The number of training units is (24) units and the training time ranges from (20-35 minutes). As for the research conclusions: Rubber rope training contributed effectively to the development of transitional speed and motor response.
