Abstract

Here lies the importance of the research to know the practical effect of Tabata training on developing some important biokinematic variables for the skill of rapid smashing in volleyball, which contributes to developing the athletic performance of players and enhances their competitive ability in matches. As for the research problem, and through the researcher's observation of some training units in volleyball for juniors, and despite the development of methods in training that play a role in improving physical fitness and muscle strength in a short time, there is a lack of such studies that examine the effect of this method on the biokinematic variables specific to the skill of rapid smashing in volleyball. The objectives of the research were to prepare exercises using the Tabata method to develop the values of some biokinematic variables and the accuracy of the skill of rapid smashing in volleyball for juniors, and to identify the effect of Tabata training in developing the values of some biokinematic variables on the research group in the pre- and post-test of players for the skill of rapid smashing in volleyball for juniors. As for the research method, the researcher adopted the experimental method with a single-group design, which is consistent with the nature of the research problem, and it was determined The research community The research sample was chosen intentionally, and they are fast-hitting players aged (14-16) years. They are the junior players in the Ahwar Sports Club for volleyball in Dhi Qar, and their number is (6) players. The percentage of the sample reached (100%) of the original community. The researcher conducted a homogeneity test for the sample. One of the most important conclusions is that training using the Tabata method contributed to developing the biokinematic variables of the fast-hitting skill for junior players.
