Abstract

In this research, we addressed the use of physical exercises, specifically dynamic strength exercises, and how to use strength exercises in a dynamic way to enhance defensive movements in handball. The study also focused on improving defensive performance and developing the physical aspects associated with defense. The research is divided into several chapters. The first chapter introduces the research, including its introduction and significance, explaining what handball is, the importance of defense in the game, and its role in achieving positive results in matches. It also discusses the importance of using specific exercises to improve defense and physical aspects. The problem, objectives, hypotheses, and scope of the research (time and place) are also clarified.

In the third chapter, we describe the field procedures of the research. After identifying the target population and selecting the sample, the reasons for choosing the sample, methods of data collection, and the tools used were explained. Then, we selected the tests related to the research and conducted preliminary experiments to identify potential obstacles and understand the scientific principles behind the tests. This was followed by pre-tests, then the main experiment, where exercises were applied according to a scientifically sound method, followed by post-tests, and statistical analysis of the results.

In the fourth chapter, we presented and analyzed the statistical results from the applied tests, discussing the post-test results of both the control and experimental groups to determine the differences and assess the effectiveness of the exercises.

The fifth chapter includes the conclusions drawn from the post-test results. Based on these conclusions, recommendations were made for further research and to highlight the benefits achieved through the study.
