Abstract

Alcohol consumption has been prevalent throughout human history, yet its detrimental effects on the body remain a significant public health concern. This article aims to comprehensively explore the toxicological impact of alcohol on various bodily systems, employing an IMRAD (Introduction, Methods and Literature Review, Results, Analysis, Discussion, and Conclusions) structure. Through a rigorous examination of existing literature, this study elucidates the intricate mechanisms by which alcohol exerts its toxic influence, encompassing organ damage, cellular disruptions, and metabolic disturbances. The findings underscore the urgency of raising awareness and implementing preventive measures to mitigate the substantial socioeconomic and healthcare burdens associated with alcohol-related harm.
