THE MAIN OBSTACLES FACING FOREIGN INVESTORS IN YEMEN - LEGAL PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

This research paper briefly reviewed the most important obstacles facing foreign investors in Yemen from a legal perspective, in light of the Yemeni investment law and the 2009 investment promotion strategic plan. The researcher used the descriptive approach to describe the investment law and the equality of the foreign investors with the Yemeni investors in rights and duties. Based on a survey of relevant studies and reports, the researcher concluded that foreign investment did not have a positive impact on the economy at present.
